WWII German SS Police NCO Dress Sword Krebs

This German Police NCO's sword was manufactured by and is marked Krebs Solingen Pet. Dan., with lobster logo in the center. The cross guard and the scabbard throat are both marked w/ double SS runic symbol. The grip is a beautiful grooved solid wood finished in brown with an inlayed aluminum police eagle.  The blade measures 29" long. It has a bright finish. No nicks or detectable damage.  


The scabbard is straight with one small dent which does not affect the removal of the blade.  Scabbard was repainted.  Original paint is still underneath.  I was able to scratch off some of the repaint with a fingernail.  Nice sword.
